The North American Punjabi Association (NAPA) has questioned the Punjab government's use of special Assembly sessions, stating that resolutions passed have not led to concrete actions or outcomes. NAPA executive director Satnam Singh Chahal noted that each session costs approximately Rs 1 crore, deeming such expenditure irresponsible given Punjab's financial crisis and unemployment. The association criticized the government for creating high public expectations with these sessions, which they argue are used for political optics rather than solving people's problems.
