
Justice Mahesh Sharadchandra Sonak, a judge from the Bombay High Court, has been appointed as the new Chief Justice of the Jharkhand High Court. The Union Ministry of Law and Justice issued the notification on Friday. Justice Sonak will assume his new role following the retirement of the incumbent Chief Justice Tarlok Singh Chauhan on January 8. This appointment aligns with a recommendation from the Supreme Court Collegium.
