Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu recalled that one of his first dates with wife Sara took place at Tandoori Tel Aviv, an Indian restaurant owned by Reena Pushkarna. He expressed owing India a "great personal debt," highlighting the memorable experience of Indian cuisine that introduced Sara to the food. The couple, married since 1991 with two sons, remain fond of Indian dishes. Pushkarna, a celebrated Indian-Israeli chef, also prepared a special meal for PM Narendra Modi during his recent visit to Israel, symbolizing cultural and diplomatic ties between the nations.
