The new building, costing approximately ₹93.27 crore, will feature three basements, six storeys, 45 modern suites, an exhibition area, and a conference hall. The state plans similar Bhavans in Ayodhya, Bengaluru, and Surat, with existing ones in Kolkata, Chennai, and Mumbai. A shelter near Master Canteen Chowk will offer low-cost accommodation for visitors from Odisha. Officials including Union Minister Jual Oram attended the event.
