
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin virtually inaugurated 183 completed projects by the Municipal Administration and Water Supply Department across the state, costing 3,511 crore, and laid foundations for 10 upcoming projects worth 1,267 crore. Among these, a 515.72-crore combined drinking water project in Thoothukudi district was inaugurated to benefit six panchayat unions and approximately 3.47 lakh people. The projects include water supply, drainage, and civic infrastructure improvements. Stalin also presented awards to artisans and inaugurated a handicraft exhibition in Chennai.
