India's Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) will showcase its long-range Anti-Ship Hypersonic Glide Missile at the 77th Republic Day Parade on January 26. The missile, designed for the Indian Navy, has a range of 1,500 km and travels at hypersonic speeds, making it difficult for enemy radars to detect. It can carry various payloads to target and destroy warships in the Indian Ocean region within approximately 15 minutes, enhancing India's maritime defense capabilities. DRDO is also developing related hypersonic technologies.
