Twenty20 Joins NDA, Announces Candidates for Kerala Assembly Elections 2026

Twenty20, a political outfit backed by the Kitex Group, has joined the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and is contesting the 2026 Kerala Assembly elections. The party has claimed nearly 20 seats statewide, mainly in Ernakulam and Thrissur, though BJP local leaders have resisted ceding their strongholds. Twenty20 recently announced candidates for Thrikkarippur, Thrikkakara, and Thiruvambady constituencies, including film director Akhil Marar. Further candidate announcements are expected ahead of the April 9 polls.
