Speaking at Sangam Point, a major tourist attraction known for the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar rivers, Gupta highlighted tourism's significant contribution to local livelihoods and allied sectors. He noted the site's importance for adventure tourism and its appeal to nature lovers and photographers, stressing that eco-tourism is the way forward for Ladakh's development.
