Haryana Budget 2026-27 Unveils Major Infrastructure and Development Plans for Gurugram

Haryana's 2026-27 budget prioritizes Gurugram with major infrastructure and development projects. Key initiatives include constructing a 14 km, eight-lane elevated corridor costing around Rs 2,900 crore, five new flyovers to ease traffic, and reviving the Greater Southern Peripheral Road. Gurugram is also designated as a 'Wedding City' to boost local employment and tourism. Sports infrastructure will be enhanced with new stadiums and hostels, including an international-level para sports stadium. Healthcare and industrial facilities will also see upgrades.
