PMK Founder Alleges Delay in Tamil Nadu Motor Vehicle Inspector Appointments

PMK founder Dr. S Ramadoss accused the Tamil Nadu government of negligence in appointing Motor Vehicle Inspectors, citing a persistent shortage despite over 150 Regional Transport Offices statewide. The issue stems from a 2018 Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission recruitment notification, where legal disputes over candidate selection have delayed appointments for over seven years. Ramadoss highlighted the government's absence in Supreme Court hearings and expressed concern over candidates aging out and hardships faced by selected individuals and their families. The next court hearing is scheduled for March 24.
