The Bombay High Court declined to grant interim relief to former Maharashtra minister Eknath Khadse in a 2016 Pune MIDC land deal case, where charges are set to be framed on January 16. The case involves alleged undervaluation of MIDC land causing a loss of up to Rs 61.25 crore. Khadse, his wife, and son-in-law face proceedings by the Anti-Corruption Bureau and Enforcement Directorate under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act. Khadse's counsel sought interim protection, citing procedural concerns and his age, with further hearings scheduled for January 21.
