A seven-member committee has been formed to reverify packages of the Lada-Sarli Frontier Highway in East Kameng district, Arunachal Pradesh, following allegations of misappropriation of over Rs 130 crore in compensation funds. The Anti-Corruption Bureau is investigating the alleged irregularities, which have delayed the 126-km project. Several officials have been suspended, and one former officer arrested as the probe into the unaccounted funds continues.
