Kerala Cabinet Approves Land Allocation for BrahMos Missile Unit and Other Measures

The Kerala Cabinet, led by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, approved the allocation of 180 acres of land at Kallikkad village in Thiruvananthapuram district to BrahMos Aerospace for constructing an advanced missile manufacturing unit. This follows Supreme Court approval for land transfer from the Nettukaltheri open prison campus. The Cabinet also sanctioned land titles for 649 possession holders in Pathanamthitta district and announced job creation for Commonwealth Games medalist Treesa Jolly. Revised guidelines for regularising casual sweepers were also approved.
