The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) has temporarily removed nearly 48,000 files related to Jeffrey Epstein, totaling about 65,500 pages, from its public release for further review and redaction. These documents, part of over 2.7 million pages released under the Epstein Files Transparency Act, include sensitive survivor information and unverified allegations involving prominent individuals, including former President Donald Trump. The DOJ aims to address privacy concerns and expects to republish the files after necessary redactions.
