
The Karnataka government has activated its State and District Emergency Operations Centres to assist travelers stranded due to airspace closures in 11 Middle Eastern countries, including Iran, Israel, and the UAE, until March 2. Following directives from Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, these centres coordinate with the Ministry of External Affairs and Indian embassies to provide helplines and advisories. District administrations, such as Belagavi, have also set up helplines to support affected residents and urge adherence to local safety guidelines.
