Coimbatore district received over 50,000 applications for electoral roll changes during special camps on December 27-28. The majority, 35,065, were for new voter registrations, with 14,935 for corrections and 813 for deletions. Kavundampalayam constituency saw the highest activity with over 11,000 applications. District officials inspected the camps and urged efficient processing. Further camps are scheduled for January 3-4, 2026, with the final electoral roll to be published on February 17, 2026.
