NIA Seeks China's Assistance to Trace GoPro Linked to Pahalgam Terror Attack

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) is seeking judicial assistance from China to trace a GoPro Hero 12 Black camera linked to the April 22, 2025, Pahalgam terror attack that killed 26 tourists. The camera, crucial for establishing pre-attack reconnaissance and operational details, was supplied to a China-based distributor and activated in Dongguan in January 2024. The manufacturer in the Netherlands lacks end-user records, prompting the NIA to issue a Letter Rogatory to Chinese authorities with the Ministry of Home Affairs' approval.
