
Bengaluru's Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar inaugurated the second loop of the Hebbal flyover on Thursday, intended to alleviate traffic congestion for commuters from Kempegowda International Airport and northern city areas. He stated the new loop would ensure smoother traffic flow. Shivakumar also announced that local body elections, including for the Greater Bengaluru Authority, will be held this year. He detailed other infrastructure projects, including the Bengaluru Business Corridor and planned flyovers and tunnel roads, emphasizing the scale of development undertaken by the state government.
