He presented data showing 5.79% of voters deleted in Bengal, significantly less than states like Tamil Nadu (12.5%) and Gujarat (9.95%). Banerjee argued that despite these figures, West Bengal faces intensified scrutiny, and the narrative of numerous Rohingya and Bangladeshi voters has not been substantiated by the SIR process.
