Ghaziabad-Jewar RRTS Corridor Confirmed; New Gurugram-Surajpur Rapid Rail Proposed

The Ghaziabad to Noida International Airport rapid rail corridor via Greater Noida West remains on track, with the original 72-km route confirmed by Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA). A detailed project report has been submitted for approval. Additionally, a proposed 60-km rapid rail corridor from Gurugram's IFFCO Chowk to Surajpur aims to improve connectivity to Delhi's IGI airport. Both corridors are planned as complementary links to enhance regional airport access and support urban growth in western Uttar Pradesh and the National Capital Region.
