Farmers in Bhagora, Madhya Pradesh, protested on Tuesday over a lack of irrigation water from the Narmada Valley Development Authority (NVDA) project. They claim pipelines were laid to supply water from December 1 to several villages, including Bhagora, but only their village is being excluded. NVDA officials cited pipeline leaks, with two of three reportedly repaired. Farmers expressed concern for their crops, and the Tehsildar assured a resolution within two days, with farmers threatening further action if the issue persists.
