Jammu and Kashmir Schools Closed for Two Days Amid Drone Intrusions and Security Concerns

Schools and colleges across Jammu and Kashmir, including Kashmir Valley, will remain closed on March 2 and 3 following multiple drone intrusion attempts along the Line of Control. The Indian Army thwarted attempts by small quadcopters to breach airspace in the Poonch area. The closures, affecting classes up to 12th grade, aim to ensure student safety amid heightened security and protests triggered by US-Israeli strikes on Iran. Examinations have been postponed, and security measures intensified, especially in areas with significant Shia populations.
