Haryana Reports Teacher Shortages in Hundreds of Government Schools, Recruitment Delays Persist

Haryana's Education Minister Mahipal Dhanda reported that 298 government schools in the state, including 87 in Nuh district, operate without permanent teachers, while over 1,000 have only one. The government faces delays in filling nearly 1,500 vacant Primary Teacher posts due to lengthy recruitment processes. Efforts include staff rationalisation, online transfers, promotions, and temporary teacher engagements to address shortages and maintain academic activities amid challenges in backward districts like Nuh.
