BMC Standing Committee to Review Rs 2,800 Crore Civic Projects in First Meeting After Four Years

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) is set to hold its first standing committee meeting in nearly four years to review 59 proposals worth over Rs 2,800 crore. Key agenda items include infrastructure projects like the Goregaon Mulund Link Road flyover, Sion Railway Over Bridge with noted cost escalations, bridge repairs, waste management upgrades, healthcare improvements, and the construction of Mumbai's first gymkhana. The committee, comprising members from multiple parties, will vote on financial clearances for these projects.
