The Delhi government has declared five dry days between January and March when the sale of alcohol will be prohibited at licensed liquor shops, bars, and clubs. These days include Republic Day (January 26) and major religious festivals such as Maha Shivratri, Id-ul-Fitr, Ram Navami, and Mahavir Jayanti. However, hotels with L-15 or L-15F licences may serve alcohol via room service to resident guests. Licensees must display dry day notices, and violations may lead to legal action.
