Andhra Pradesh CM Announces Housing for Poor by 2029 and Agricultural Support Measures

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu announced plans to provide housing for all poor residents by 2029, including housing plots for landless individuals and apartments where plots are unavailable. Ahead of the 2026 Ugadi festival, the government aims to hold up to 10 lakh housewarming ceremonies. Naidu also outlined agricultural initiatives, including Rs 13,772 crore for free power, increased financial aid to farmers, expansion of AI agronomist services, and promotion of natural farming and food processing investments.
