Minister of State for Rural Development Chandra Sekhar Pemmasani launched the first 'land stack' pilot in Chandigarh and Tamil Nadu. This digital platform aims to integrate all land records, modernizing land administration under the Digital India Land Record Modernisation Programme. Inspired by international models, the GIS-based stack offers single-window access to land information for citizens and government, enhancing transparency, convenience, and informed decision-making while reducing property purchase risks.
