The Odisha government has promoted 14 Indian Police Service (IPS) officers, including Inspector General Shyni S, to the rank of Additional Director General (ADG). Shyni S, who currently leads the Crime against Women and Children Wing, will assume her new role from January 1, 2026. The promotions were announced via a notification from the General Administration and Public Grievances Department.
