Visakhapatnam MP M. Sribharat has urged Union Minister Nitin Gadkari to develop access roads from NH-16 to the new Bhogapuram International Airport to prevent potential traffic congestion. Gadkari has directed the NHAI to prepare a feasibility report for at least two access points, including a 'trumpet road'. The airport, under construction by GVIAL, is preparing for its validation flight on January 4, with operations expected soon. VMRDA has acquired land for eight arterial roads as alternative access.
