Shiv Sena MP Dr. Shrikant Shinde, aged 39, has been appointed president of the India-Indonesia Parliamentary Friendship Group, making him the youngest leader among the nominated MPs. This role is part of a broader initiative led by Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla to enhance parliamentary diplomacy through delegations to over 60 countries, focusing on trade, technology, culture, and strategic cooperation. Dr. Shinde recently led a multi-nation parliamentary tour in Africa and the Middle East under Operation Sindoor.
