Malayalam actor Jayasurya and his wife appeared before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in Kochi for questioning in a money laundering case. The ED is investigating allegations that funds collected from investors through an online bidding application, 'Save Box,' were diverted to the film industry. Sources claim actor Jayasurya received payments for brand endorsement from the scheme's operator, Swathi Rahim, who allegedly paid part in cash to the actor's wife's boutique. The couple stated a formal endorsement agreement was made for Rs 75 lakh, with Rs 69 lakh received via banking channels.
