J.C.D. Prabhakar, a former AIADMK legislator and supporter of O. Panneerselvam, joined actor Vijay's Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) party in Chennai. Prabhakar, who has a long political history including multiple terms representing Villivakkam and affiliations with various factions, stated his hope for good governance and predicted more joinings in TVK. He previously attempted to unite AIADMK factions without success. The move follows other former AIADMK figures joining TVK.
