Karnataka Government Orders Probe into KPSC Exam Irregularities Amid Allegations

The Karnataka government has ordered a probe into alleged irregularities in the KPSC Mains examination for Gazetted Probationers, conducted for 384 posts. Concerns include multiple candidates with consecutive serial numbers clearing the exam from the same room and family members qualifying. Home Minister G Parameshwara acknowledged past complaints and stated that if allegations are serious, responsible officials must be held accountable. KPSC officials have begun an internal investigation, with a report expected soon. The government emphasized ensuring a transparent recruitment process amid plans for 56,000 recruitments.
