Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar commenced a three-day visit to Odisha, emphasizing the crucial role of booth-level officers (BLOs) as "pillars of the election process." Accompanied by his family, Kumar visited the Jagannath Temple in Puri and the Sun Temple in Konark, expressing admiration for Odisha's culture and heritage. He is scheduled to interact with approximately 700 BLOs from Khurda and Cuttack districts on December 29, who will be instrumental in the upcoming Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise.
