Maharashtra Advances Fire Safety with High-Rise Equipment and Ladder Upgrades

Maharashtra is enhancing fire safety measures for high-rise buildings amid rapid urbanization. Mumbai plans to acquire the nation's highest hydraulic fire ladder, surpassing Chennai's 104-metre ladder, to address fire risks in skyscrapers up to 125 floors. A government resolution mandates that all municipal corporations approving buildings over 70 metres must have specialized fire-fighting vehicles and equipment.
