Stray Dog Nibbles on Decomposed Body at Telangana Hospital Mortuary; Four Officials Suspended

A stray dog entered the old mortuary of the Area Hospital in Jadcherla, Telangana, and nibbled on the finger of a decomposed body of a 33-year-old man who died by drowning. The incident occurred due to the dilapidated condition of the mortuary, which lacked proper security. Following an inquiry ordered by the Health Minister, four hospital officials were suspended for administrative lapses. The post-mortem was completed, and the body was handed over to the family without further damage.
