Thane Mayor Orders Drain Cleaning and Waste Management Ahead of Monsoon

Thane Mayor Sharmila Pimpalolkar has directed the civic administration to complete cleaning and desilting of all drains before the monsoon season, with work starting next month and finishing by the end of May. She also emphasized improved maintenance of public toilets, adequate water supply, and stronger awareness campaigns on waste segregation, particularly in slum areas, as part of the 'Swachh Thane Vision' initiative.
