He criticized the actions as 'bulldozer raj' and accused the Congress government in Karnataka of executing anti-minority politics. Government agencies attempted to erect a compound wall at the site, formerly a landfill, but were prevented by affected families forming a human chain. The families have been living near the demolished site without accommodation since December 20.
