Foundation Stone Laid for Rs 1,507 Crore Kota-Bundi Greenfield Airport in Rajasthan

Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone for the Rs 1,507 crore Kota-Bundi Greenfield Airport in Rajasthan's Hadoti region, including Kota, Bundi, Baran, and Jhalawar. The airport aims to enhance regional connectivity, reduce travel to Jaipur or Jodhpur, and boost economic growth, tourism, trade, and employment. The project features a 3,200-metre runway, a 20,000 square metre terminal, and facilities for Airbus A-321 aircraft. Officials including Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and Rajasthan's Chief Minister attended the ceremony.
