Eleven individuals have been arrested in Assam and Tripura for alleged links to Bangladesh-based fundamentalist groups, according to police. The arrests were made by the Special Task Force based on intelligence inputs, with authorities stating the group aimed to destabilize the Northeast region and establish 'Muslim supremacy.' The apprehended individuals are reportedly members of a newly formed group called Indian Mujahideen-K.
