
Maharashtra Industries Minister Uday Samant alleged that fake entry passes to the Vidhan Bhavan were being sold for Rs 2,000 to Rs 5,000 using forged Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation letterheads and signatures. Around 50 such passes were reportedly distributed, involving some peons. Following these claims, Assembly Speaker Ram Shinde announced an inquiry, promising strict action after its completion. Minister Pankaj Bhoyar stated decisions would follow the investigation report. This issue arises amid tightened security after a recent bomb threat to the legislature.
