Imran Khan Held in Solitary Confinement, Denied Legal Counsel, Family and Party Say

Pakistan's former prime minister Imran Khan has been held in solitary confinement for over three months and denied access to his legal counsel, according to his party, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). Khan, incarcerated since August 2023 amid multiple cases following his government's removal in April 2022, faces restrictions reportedly linked to his criticism of military leadership. His sister Aleema Khan stated he remains resilient despite isolation and questioned the continued imprisonment amid political and legal controversies.
