People's Conference chief Sajad Lone has urged the central government to treat the alleged harassment and targeting of Kashmiris in other parts of India as a matter of national security, not just isolated incidents. Speaking in Srinagar, Lone highlighted that Kashmiri migrants contribute to national integration and expressed concern over their treatment, questioning their status in the country. He criticized the current official response as inadequate and appealed to top leaders, including the Prime Minister and Union Home Minister, to intervene decisively.
