The Delhi High Court has directed the Delhi Police to file an affidavit within a week explaining the circumstances and legal authority under which around 10 activists and students were detained last week. The police stated all detainees have been released, though one activist's release remains disputed. The court ordered preservation of CCTV footage from locations where the detentions occurred and is hearing habeas corpus petitions alleging illegal detention, lack of magistrate production, and mistreatment. The next hearing is scheduled for March 27.
