The Bombay High Court allowed the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) to use a 17,756-square-metre plot in Worli reserved for a sewage treatment plant (STP), while agreeing to scrutinize the reduction of the original reservation from over 27,000 square metres. The court addressed a petition by Worli Urban Development Project LLP challenging stop-work notices on transit camps built without BMC approval. The developer assured removal of these structures within 90 days, and the court will examine the legality of the State government's land reservation changes.
