Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy inaugurated the renovated Nizam-era assembly hall, now serving as the legislative council's venue. The heritage building, originally constructed between 1905 and 1913 in Indo-Saracenic style, previously housed the undivided Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly until the 1980s. After an 18-month restoration involving the state government and the Aga Khan Trust for Culture, the hall has been revived for legislative use over 11 years after Telangana's formation.
