A case has been registered against BJP MLA Sharanu Salagar following a complaint alleging he failed to repay a Rs 99 lakh loan taken for election expenses. The MLA allegedly issued a cheque that was later dishonoured due to a closed account. The complainant also claims the MLA behaved aggressively and issued threats when approached about repayment. Police have registered a case under various sections, including cheating and criminal intimidation.
