Railway Minister Flags Off New Bikaner-Ahmedabad Train Service in Rajasthan
Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, accompanied by Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal, inaugurated a new special train service between Bikaner and Ahmedabad on 21 June. The ministers highlighted ongoing railway projects in Rajasthan, including station redevelopment, new lines, and infrastructure upgrades aimed at enhancing connectivity, especially in border regions. These efforts are expected to boost passenger mobility, economic activity, and strategic connectivity. Investments in Rajasthan's railway infrastructure have significantly increased under the current government, with several new train services introduced recently.
