IAF Two-Seater Microlite Aircraft Crashes in Prayagraj; Pilots Safe, Investigation Underway

An Indian Air Force two-seater microlite aircraft crashed into a pond near KP College in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, on January 21 during a routine training sortie. Both pilots safely ejected or were rescued with minor or no injuries. The crash caused local panic, prompting immediate rescue operations involving police, fire brigade, and NDRF divers. Authorities have cordoned off the area and launched a Court of Inquiry to investigate the technical malfunction that led to the incident. No civilian casualties or property damage were reported.
