The Delhi government has approved the Delhi Khadi Kaushal Vikas Yojana, a skill development scheme aimed at benefiting over 16,000 Khadi artisans and their families over two years. Implemented by the Delhi Khadi and Village Industries Board, it offers structured training in various trades, a daily stipend of Rs 400, food during sessions, and free tool kits. A notable feature is an e-catalogue platform providing digital market access to trained artisans, marking a first among State Khadi Boards.
